WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our Goats
We believe in a pure breed dairy line. We purchased our first two Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats in 2012 from the Kingdom Meadow Farm herd after much research on the different goat breeds. My foundation Does were out of Weberwood Acres, Romeo & Miss Molly. I have strived for consistency of high milk production. Other stock has been added to our herd from such reputable breeders as Delevandrick Farm, who has made a major impact on the breed through Moon Spinner SB Odion Pegasus’s Lineage. and the quality and star milk animals in that herd.
Old Mountain Farms, Maiden Song, Maplewood Hill Top, Corner Stone Farms , Freedom Star Farms, Dills Farm, ProctorHill Farms, Flat Rocks Farm and Carmal Farms who's diligence in selective line breeding has produced many fine champions and star milkers as well. These combined genetic bloodlines have produced the consistent quality. Our breeding program stresses dairy character and conformation; focusing on milk production, temperament, then size and and color. We love our animal and give them happy and healthy home. I don't raise goats anymore. I miss them.
Our Rabbits
In June of 2019 I found an interest in rabbits, Predigree Holland Lops. Wow what a new adventure this is. Completely different then raising and breeding goats. February 4, 2019 I have my first little of kits. I love them. I have bought five bunnies now and have only one that you can really handle and play with. Rabbits are natural wild. So my goal in raising these bunnies is to handle and play with them a lot, so other people can really enjoy there babies right from the start. We feed all our bunnies GMO free feeds also.
Our Chickens
We raise about 30 back yard chickens for eggs since 2009. We feed all our chickens GMO free feeds also. No Chemicals for us. We have Rhode Island Reds,Black Australorp, Buff Orpingtons, Silver Lace Wyandottes, Barred Plymouth Rocks and New Hampshire Red. We tried raising white Leg Horns for meat but found it very pricey. So we order from a local chicken farm the does GMO free.
We also believe farmers are the back bone of the country. Without the them we will all die. Fight for and support your local farmers.
